Jim and I would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the wonderful experience that we had with Harris & Son Construction Company. Too often the only time we think to express ourselves is when problems occur. Happily, the process of building our home was remarkably problem-free and not the ordeal many of our friends warned us it would be. The house is all we expected and more!

Not only do we feel the craftsmanship was superior in every aspect of construction but also the suggestions from both Ginny and Mitchell added special touches that would not have occurred to us. Ginny was especially versed in watching the budget and keeping our costs in line. She knew when to splurge and when to economize.

We can’t believe we have been in our “new” home almost three and one half years. You two made the entire experience of building a house so pleasant and exciting. Your advice and help in planning, selecting materials, windows and doors, fixtures, etc. was invaluable. You even managed to finish it close to the estimated time despite the biggest snowstorm in North Carolina history. Ginny, your time and patience helping me make the seemingly simplest choices, picking colors, floors, counter tops and fixtures and furniture was above and beyond anything I could have expected.

We really appreciate the quality of the workmanship and the immediate follow up of any small problem that appeared after completion. We also value your continued friendship and interest in “us Yankees”.

In January 2001, we contracted with Harris & Son Construction Co. to build our home in Seven Lakes West. From the very first meeting with the Harris’s, we were very impressed. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable in answering our many questions. Throughout the building process, we became increasingly comfortable with the quality workmanship used by Harris & Son Construction Co. When our home was completed, it was within the initial estimates and on time. We are very happy with the work they did and with the result: a beautiful home that we are very proud of.

We both feel the company operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity and would not hesitate to recommend Harris & Son to anyone.
